ABOUT THE ELP
The East Lake Patrol (ELP) is a community based, non-profit organization promoting sustained safety and security through advocacy, education, and partnerships with our local police precinct. ELP is supported through memberships from neighbors and local businesses residing within East Lake that choose to be proactive about crime in our community and keeping our streets safe.
Street by street, The East Lake Patrol builds a stronger and safer community for all residents by employing off-duty Atlanta Police officers to patrol our neighborhood during the day and night, 7 days a week.

PATROLLED BY OFF-DUTY ATLANTA POLICE OFFICERS (APD)
Have a greater peace of mind knowing that you'll enjoy addtional police protection for your home or business. Increased visibility deters criminals before crimes are committed. Should the need arise, our off-duty police officers have the training and ability to subdue and arrest criminals in East Lake.
SCHEDULED PATROLS FOR YOUR
HOME WHILE YOU'RE AWAY
Going out of town? Don't spend your vacation worrying about your home. Members can simply fill out the vacation request form and have the peace of mind kowing that our ELP officers are doing extra patrols of your property while you are away.
INCREASED PATROL HOURS DURING THE HOLIDAYS
AND HOT ZONES EXPERIENCING INCREASED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY
Criminals are opportunists and know that the holidays are times of increased travel and vacant homes. They are also creatures of habit often repeating crimes in a specific area. Our officers increase their patrol hours during the holidays and when we notice increased crime waves in a specific area.
COMMUNITY CRIME AND SAFETY UPDATES
Members will have access to a private newsletter discussing community crime and safety updates.
YARD SIGNAGE
Members receive an ELP yard sign to show their home is protected and receives increased patrols from off-duty police officers. *There is an initial $25 dollar fee for the signage package which includes a yard sign and two window stickers for your home or car.
COFFEE WITH A COP
Twice yearly, members will be invited to sit down with our patrol officers to discuss safety in East Lake and how they can protect their homes.
BUSINESS MEMBERSHIPS AND CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP
Protect your East Lake based business with the added surveillance of the ELP. As part of your business membership, you will not only receive all the benefits of the residential membership, but you will also receive storefront signage showing your support of the East Lake Patrol, a link to your business on the ELP website, and you will be able to include flyers advertising your business in the New Neighbor Welcome Packets that will go out to all neighbors new to East Lake.
Don't have a physical storefront in East Lake? No problem! Corporate Sponsorships show your commitment to the safety and security of the residents of East Lake. We'll be sure to advertise your company's support in newsletters, on the ELP website, and inclusion in our New Neighbor Welcome Packets.

Show your commitment to safety and security in East Lake by sponsoring the ELP. Your logo and a link to your business will be prominently displayed on the ELP website, you will be mentioned in a quarterly newsletter, and you may include marketing material for your business in our New Neighbor Welcome Packets. If you have a physical business in East Lake you will also enjoy all the patrol benefits plus signage for your business location.
$300 per year
You must be within the Atlanta city limits to join the ELP. Unfortunately we cannot patrol Unicorporated Dekalb at this time.
